Is prayer ministry the same thing as counseling?

Our model of counseling is primarily pastoral in nature. We base our counseling on principles of scripture, prayer, and listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We help clients discern root causes of the issues in their life. We watch for bitter fruit symptoms and track those to their bitter root decisions. In addition, we know that much of our emotional pain is caused by lies that we believe. When we counsel a client into inner healing and transformation, we invite Jesus to apply His truth to the unhealed and unbelieving places in the client's heart. We lead clients in prayer to the foot of the Cross, to forgive others, to be forgiven, to be transformed through inner healing. We have helped hundreds of people find the wholeness they have been searching for.

Do you accept insurance?

Release Counseling does not provide billing for insurance at this time. We keep our counseling fees low in an effort to be affordable for all. We also offer "share the fee", a sliding scale based on income and need. Please contact us for additional details.
